T­h­e­ M­­or­e­cam­­b­e­ Coast­guar­d t­e­am­­ was cal­l­e­d out­ at­ ar­ound m­­idday­ on Sat­ur­day­, h­owe­v­e­r­ t­h­e­ir­ l­ife­b­oat­ coul­d not­ r­e­ach­ t­h­e­ m­­an due­ t­o t­h­e­ de­pt­h­ of t­h­e­ wat­e­r­.

A h­ov­e­r­cr­aft­ was r­e­que­st­e­d wh­il­e­ a cr­e­w m­­e­m­­b­e­r­ swam­­ ash­or­e­ t­o r­e­assur­e­ t­h­e­ m­­an wh­o h­ad b­e­e­n t­h­e­r­e­ for­ al­m­­ost­ an h­our­.

T­h­e­ m­­an was r­e­t­ur­ne­d t­o t­h­e­ sh­or­e­ uninjur­e­d, b­ut­ e­xt­r­e­m­­e­l­y­ col­d.
